Adrian De Landa July 16, 1921 to Dec. 15, 2009. He was born in Tampico, Mexico, Adrian emigrated to California in 1940. He passed away at his home in the company of his wife, family members and good friends. He will be greatly missed.
As a young man he wrote crossword puzzles for El Excelsior, a Mexico City newspaper. In California he worked for Boeing North America for approximately 28 years. Upon retirement from Boeing he began a 25 year career in Real Estate with John Denver Realty.
Adrian loved animals, enjoyed a good joke and always found a way to enjoy life. He always gave a nickname to almost everyone he knew, and called “compadre” anyone he liked. He loved to play cards, dance, bowling and the theatre. He was a member of the Elks many years.
Adrian was survived by his beloved wife Emilia and his dear cat Tiger a.k.a. “piojo.”
A Celebration of Life will be held at Evans Brown Mortuary Dec. 26th at 11 am in Sun City, CA - 27010 Encanto Drive. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Riverside County SPCA.
