RIVERSIDE COUNTY

Patriot’s Concert with the Riverside Lyric Opera Symphony, the Riverside Master Chorale the UC Riverside Pipe Band and more, 7-9 p.m. Saturday, White Park at Ninth and Market Streets. Free; VIP seating $25.

Moreno Valley: Moreno Valley Family Fun Fest Saturday fireworks; music will be simulcast on KOLA, 99.9 FM. Events begin at 9:30 a.m. at Morrison Park and Mountain View Middle School, Dracaea Avenue and Morrison Street; fireworks at 9 p.m.

Corona: Main Street Independence Day Parade at 10 a.m. Saturday between Ontario and Olive streets; festival at 4 p.m. at Santana Park, 598 Santana Way; fireworks at 8:00 p.m. (951) 736-2241.

Beaumont: The City of Beaumont will be putting on a 4th of July Celebration this year. It will feature free entertainment and a fireworks display. The celebration will take place at stewart Park, located at 9th Street and Orange Avenue. The schedule of events is: 5:00 p.m. - The Basix; 7:30 p.m. - Air Supply;
9:00 p.m. - Pyro Spectacular Fireworks

Desert Hot Springs: The city council voted not to provide a city-funded fireworks show for 2009.

Palm Springs:
Palm Springs Stadium, 1901 E Baristo Rd., the City of Palm Springs and Palm Springs Power Baseball team presents an All American 4th of July! Gates open at 5 p.m., game begins at 6:05 p.m. Fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Regular Admission prices for the baseball game; Free admission for fireworks begins at 8:00 p.m. No coolers, please. Lake Elsinore: The city council voted not to provide a city-funded fireworks show.

Palm Desert: Enjoy an evening of free music and fireworks at the City of Palm Desert’s annual Fourth of July celebration at the Civic Center Park. The festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. with a 90-minute concert by Steve Madaio. Fireworks will follow the concert at 9 p.m. with synchronized music broadcast live on Mix 100.5. Bring a picnic dinner, blankets and chairs. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. No alcoholic beverages or personal fireworks allowed. Free shuttle service begins at 6 p.m. and will run throughout the evening from The Gardens on El Paseo (San Pablo side, lower level) to the park. For more information, call (760) 346-0611.

Perris: 4th of July Festival and Fireworks Sky Concert “Firecracker 30 & Sky Concert,” USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, USAC Ford Focus Midgets & USAC Jr. Focus Midgets; event begins at 7 p.m. Saturday.

Temecula: Grab your family and friends and celebrate America at the annual 4th of July Extravaganza. Food vendors, live music and a fun zone for kids. 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Ronald Reagan Sports Park, 30875 Rancho Vista Road.
