A magnitude 3.3 earthquake shook the Yucaipa area early Thursday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake — categorized as minor — struck at 1:42 a.m. and was centered 5 miles west-southwest of Yucaipa, 5 miles southeast of Redlands and 13 miles east-southeast of San Bernardino.
The shaker was 5.9 miles deep and could be felt — very slightly — as far as Riverside
