Lou Edelyn Hernandez age 73, passed away on June 14th , 2012 in Riverside, CA to be with the Lord. Lou was born in Batesville, AK in 1939.

Her family moved to Delano, CA where she attended School. Lou worked as an Executive Secretary for IBM Business Solutions for 39 years before retiring. Lou won many awards and trips for her exceptional service at IBM. Lou was a remarkable woman with the most infectious laugh.

She is predeceased by her late husband Joseph Hernandez.

She is survived by her only daughter Vanessa Henderson (married to Darren) and her granddaughter Emma, of Riverside, CA; her step children Stephanie Whitman and Steven Hernandez, of Rifle, CO, and their children; her sister Patsy Hiett, of Bakersfield, CA; her nieces Pam Britschgi, of Fox Island, WA, Shelley Molica, of Delano, CA and Erin Papazian, of Salinas, CA; and many great nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held Thursday, June 21st from 10-12pm, Services to immediately follow from 12-1pm at Pierce Bros Crestlawn, 11500 Arlington Ave., Riverside, CA. Graveside Services will be held Friday, June 22nd at 1pm in Delano, CA at Delano Cemetery.
