John Almeida peacefully passed away of leukemia at his Sun Lakes home in Banning on Fri, May 4th.

He was surrounded by his family. Papa will be missed by all. John honorably served in the Air Force during the Korean War.

He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; his children John and Vicki; daughter-in-law Gwen and son-in-law Steve; and five precious grandchildren, Erik, Jake, Hannah, Zachary and Garrett.

Services will be held on May 6th at 11:30am at Wiefels & Son in Banning, with a luncheon reception afterward at Sun Lakes Country Club. The family welcomes memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association (www.alz.org).
