Grady Louis Lawrence was born in Kiowa, OK. On May 12, 1935 and went home to be with the Lord on April 24, 2012.

Grady joined the Air Force at an early age of 18 years old and served for 4 years. At 25 Grady moved to Hemet where he started a long career in the water well industry, and also as a talented musician performing at the local Ramada Club and Pastime Lake. Grady started his own drilling company in the late 70’s which is still a family owned and operated business.

Grady was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather and is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years Nancy Lawrence and 5 children: Grady Lawrence of MD, Rick Lawrence of Hemet, Michael Lawrence of MD (deceased), Donna Lawrence of ID, and Brad Millsap of San Marcos.

He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Grady was also a long time member of the Hemet Church of the Nazarene where his memorial will be held on May 4, 2012 at 11:00 am. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Hemet Valley Mortuary. Please feel free to leave condolences or any information about the services.
