Estrelita Deleon Meyer 68, died on March 1, 2012, while vacationing in her home town Luacan, Dinalupihan, Bataan in the Philippines. She was killed by an unknown assailant. She was born on February 11, 1944, in Luacan.

Estrelita grew up in Manila and attended FG Calderon Elementary and Manuel L. Quezon High School. She graduated in 1966 from Peati University after studying in secretarial administration and commerce.

She married Anthony Dean Leocadio on July 19, 1967 in Manila, Philippines. Together they had 4 children and raised them in the United States. After a divorce with Dean, Estrelita married John Albert Meyer on Feb 11, 1990 in Long Beach, California.

She loved singing, dancing, gardening, going fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was truly a free spirit who will be remembered for helping others in need.

Estrelita Deleon Meyer is survived by her 2 sisters, Aurora Tolentino and Carmen Mallari; brother, Carlos De Leon; 2 sons and their spouses, Michael and Lany Leocadio, Eric Leocadio; 2 daughters and their spouses, Michele and Brian Jarosh, Leilani Ware; 7 grandchildren Miki, Daniella, Alison, Malia, Jacob, Samantha, Gavin; and great granddaughter Layla.

Viewings will be held at Arlington Mortuary, 9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside on Wednesday, March 14th from 12-8 p.m. and on Thursday, March 15th from 4-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 16th at 10 a.m. at the same location. Estrelita Deleon Meyer will be buried at 12:01 p.m. on Friday, March 16th at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA You will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved you. May you rest in peace.
