Alvin "Bingo" Chavez

alvinchavez.jpgAlvin “Bingo” Chavez (59) was born on May 3, 1952 in Winslow, AZ and passed from this life on January 18, 2012 in Loma Linda, CA.

Alvin had been a resident of Hemet, CA for the past 36 years, and prior to that he lived in Lakewood, CA. He was a hardworking self-employed contractor whom enjoyed music, old black and white movies, and his family.

Alvin is survived by his loving wife Angela; their 6 children: Michelle (Luis) Garcia, Eddie (Veronica), Ernie, Irene & Steven (Kris) Miranda, & Regina (Lupe) Peralta; his parents Corina & Albino Chavez; 2 brothers: Pete Chavez, & Rudolph & Sarah Chavez; 40 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter and many other extended family members including his nephew Dion Chavez and close friends.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 24th from 4PM until 8PM at Hemet Valley Mortuary, with a Rosary being recited at 7PM. The Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, Jan. 25th at 10AM at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Private interment will be at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery. (951) 658 - 4433.
