Eleanor Bernice (Nelson) Pallireto, age 83, of San Jacinto, California, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Lighthouse Parkview in Bakersfield, California.  She was born Monday, March 22, 1926 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota and was the daughter of Alfred Williams Nelson and Sarah B. (Hannaford) Nels.

She was a director of nurses for 50 years. She lived in San Jacinto for 30 years and just recently moved in November to Lake Isabella to spend quality time with her family.  Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Pallireto.

She is survived by her daughter, Estelle Mills of New Castle, Wyo; three sons, Daniel Sutton of Morongo Valley, California; Ralph Pallireto, Jr. of Spiro, Okla; and Jim J. Pallireto of Wofford Heights, California.
One sister, Della Furnsworth of Simpter, S.C. and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 165 West 7th Street, San Jacinto, California.  Graveside service will be at San Jacinto Valley Cemetery on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:30 PM.
