Mark Alan Thueson

mark_thueson_obit_.jpg Mark Alan Thueson, age 82, of Hemet, California, passed away at his residence surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 28, 2010.  Mark was born Sunday, April 24, 1927 in Newburgh, New York to Christian Fredrick Thueson and Eline Katherine (Sorensen) Thueson.

He was drafted into the Army when he was 17 years old and served proudly during WWII and the Korean War.   He was honorably discharged in 1946.  He resided in Hemet for the past 48 years.

He recently received his 60 year pin from Carpenters Local 944.  Mark was involved with the VFW, Elks Lodge and other philanthropic endeavors.  Family time was a priority to him. He was a champion bowler and loved riding his Harley motorcycles. Mark will be remembered for his love, honesty and good sense of humor.

He is survived by his loving daughters Karin Sinclair of Idyllwild, CA., Ingrid Thueson & Sandy Horbock of Hemet, CA., his son Alan Thueson of Palm Desert, CA., their mother, Marilyn K. Thueson of Hemet, one sister Alice Olympia of New York and 30 grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at Riverside National Cemetery at 1:30 PM Friday, February, 12, 2010.
