A suspect wanted in connection with a Murrieta stabbing murder last week has been arrested.
According to Murrieta police, William Gary Simpson, age 19, was arrested Friday evening at his mother’s home in Hesperia.  Jail records show Simpson was booked into Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Victim identified in Murrieta stabbing death

The Riverside County Coroner has identified the teenager who was killed in Tuesday’s stabbing inside a Murrieta home.
Saskia Burke, 18, died after being attacked early Tuesday morning.   She was apparently stabbed to death shortly before 4:00 a.m.  Two other people inside the home were badly injured.
