The show is described as: KÀ, the unprecedented, gravity-defying production by Cirque du Soleil takes adventure to an all new level. KÀ is a heroic journey of love and conflict, set within a dynamic theatrical landscape, as an entire empire appears on KÀ’s colossal stage and a captivating display of acrobatics envelops the audience. Only at MGM Grand, Las Vegas.
Cirque Du Soleil spokeswoman Renee-Claude Menard said future performances have been cancelled.
Dan Mosqueda was in the audience and says he thought it was part of a planned sequence. “Initially, a lot of people in the audience thought it was part of the choreographed fight. But you could hear screaming, then groaning, and we could hear a female artist crying from the stage.”
