Rain-related flooding damaged two homes on Crestview between Mount Rushmore and Mount Shasta Place in Riverside County.

Eight nearby houses had flooding damage on the exterior of the residences.  The flooding did not force people to leave their homes Thursday night.

However numerous calls for weather problems kept Norco and Jurupa Valley firefighters busy helping  the City of Norco’s Public Works Department with sandbagging on Mount Shasta Place in Norco.

Flooded streets in the area included Wineville Avenue, Limonite Avenue, 50th Street, Ben Nevis Blvd. Quartz Canyon Rd., Fircrest Lane, Agate St., Mission Blvd., Hastings Blvd., Fleming St., Glen St. and Villa Woods Dr. in Jurupa Valley.
