The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (known as “NACA) is holding a five day American Dream Tour from Thursday through Monday, October 25 to October 29, at the Ontario Convention Center.
The non-profit assistance group is a HUD-certified counseling group, aiming to help struggling homeowners with loan modifications by coordinating face-to-face meetings with loan counselors, lenders, and investors.
To prepare for a loan modification meeting, participants should bring the following items to the event: photo ID, pay stubs for the last 30 days, Federal income tax returns, bank statements, and a property tax bill.
According to a NACA spokesperson, qualifications for new mortgages will be done on site for the first time, reportedly requiring no down payment, no fees, and the lender pays the closing costs.
To get started with the new loan qualification process, participants should bring the documents mentioned above, including 6 months of bank statements, 2 years of tax returns, and 2 years of W-2’s.
The event is daily from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
