Next Obama-Romney debate to be a town hall


The next time President Obama and Governor Romney debate will be next week, in a town hall format, at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.

The 90-minute debate will start at 6:00 p.m. (local time) on next Tuesday. The moderator will be Candy Crowley who is CNN’s Chief Political Correspondent.

A portion of the discussion will be led by voters who will be able to ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion.
The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization.
