News headline from the Riverside Police Department:
At around 9:30 a.m. on September 21st, a La Sierra High School student was walking on Collett Avenue approaching La Sierra Avenue when she was grabbed by an unknown man. The female student was able to get away from the attacker when a passerby yelled out at the suspect to release her. The student ran to the school and reported the incident to a school administrator.
On September 26th, a second La Sierra High School student reported she had been followed by an unknown suspect also on September 21st at about 8:30 a.m., prior to the above incident. The second victim said she had been walking in the area of La Sierra Avenue and Golden Avenue at the time of the incident. The suspect description matches the description of the suspect described during the initial report.
The subject is described as a white male, 6′ to 6′4″ tall, thin build, green eyes, dark blonde hair that was long on top and messy, and in his late teens to early twenties. He was last seen wearing a faded black short sleeve shirt with cartoon characters on front, black athletic type shorts and black Vans style tennis shoes with white soles. He is described as being dirty in appearance with bad acne and crooked teeth.
Riverside Police have provided this composite sketch of the suspect.
