News headline from the Redlands Police Department:
A 26-year-old Redlands man was arrested for assault after a fight that left another man bleeding and unconscious.
Police responded to a report of a fight with a man down at the Déjà vu club in the 1300 block of West Colton Avenue shortly before 1:00 a.m. on September 24th.
When police arrived they found a 28-year-old man in the bathroom of the club, bleeding from the back of his head where he had struck a wall, damaging the tile, and been knocked temporarily unconscious.
Redlands Police, with assistance from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s helicopter, searched the area and located the suspect, Bradford William Barling, about five minutes later near the intersection of Redlands Boulevard and Tennessee Street.
Barling was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. He is being held at Central Detention Center in San Bernardino on $50,000 bail.
Redlands paramedics treated the victim at the scene. He was transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.
