News headline from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department:

At around 8:20 p.m. on August 6th, Big Bear deputies were called to a residence on the 700 block of East Meadow Lane after family members reported finding an adult female deceased in the attic.  Deputies found the death suspicious and requested Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators to conduct an investigation.

Due to the condition of the victim’s body, injuries could not be immediately identified.  An autopsy will be conducted to positively identify the victim and determine the cause of death.
