At around 11:00 a.m. on August 12th, a truck pulling a fifth-wheel RV trailer lost control after a tire blowout, going down an embankment and killing a passenger.

The collision happened on the northbound I-15 freeway just north of Temescal Canyon Road in the Corona area.

The victim was identified as Nancy Gass, 70, of Las Vegas.

Gass was reportedly wearing a seat belt and was not ejected.
