Norco residential burglary suspect arrested

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

2012-08-11-jvs12-0810-1-kevinschoeffler-g122230001.jpgAt around 1:30 a.m. on August 10th, deputies responded to a burglary-in-progress call in 3100 block of Crestview Drive in Norco.  The victims had arrived home to find an man burglarizing their vehicle and residence.  The victims immediately call 911 to report the crime.

Prior to deputies arriving, witnesses saw the suspect drive away in a dark-colored Toyota Camry with California license plate number 5ZWU683.  During the investigation, deputies were able to identify the suspect as Kevin Schoeffler (pictured right), 40, of Norco.

Schoeffler was located a short time later at a residence in 4100 block of Temescal Avenue in Norco.  He was arrested and later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for burglary, theft, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, child endangerment, and probation violation.
