News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

A 59-year-old Indian Wells elementary school teacher was arrested today after allegations of sexual assault with students.

In July, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department began an investigation into allegations of sexual assault on a fourth grade female student at Gerald Ford Elementary School in Indian Wells.  The investigation revealed additional victims and culminated in the arrest of teacher Robert Keith Bryan (pictured right). Bryan, 59, was arrested at his residence in Palm Desert on August 1st at 10:30 a.m.

Bryan was booked into the jail in Indio on charges of lewd acts with a minor and annoy or molest child.

Sheriff’s Investigators were supported by officers from the Riverside County Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (SAFE) Task Force, and the Sexual Predator Internet Decoy Enforcement for Riverside (SPIDER) unit.
