The Riverside County Coroner has reported the death of a man shot during a confrontation with law enforcement.

He has been identified as Rudy L. Arias, 27, of Hemet.

Arias was injured at a home in the 100 block of West Kimball Avenue in Hemet shortly after 11:00 p.m. on July 31st.  He was transported to Riverside County Regional Medical Center, where he died several hours later.

No other details of the incident have been provided.
