The Riverside Police Department has reported that a man who was found suffering from gunshot wounds in the La Sierra Hills area of Riverside on August 8th died from his injuries the evening of August 9th.

The victim has been identified as Rene Barrientos Corona, 37, of Riverside.

Witnesses reported seeing a dark colored four-door car with a spoiler drive away from the scene at Arlington Avenue and Fairhaven Drive.

No arrests have been made.
