News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

2012-08-08-lak12-0807-jackrobertjurasky-201234306.jpgAt around 1:20 a.m. on August 7th, officers from the Wildomar Police Department responded to a report of a single vehicle traffic collision near the area of Clinton Keith Road and Palomar Street in Wildomar.  Officers arrived on scene within minutes and found a silver Nissan Altima resting on a large water backflow device.  The force of the collision caused the water device to rupture, flooding water into the street.

The preliminary investigation showed the driver of the vehicle, Jack Robert Jurasky (pictured right), 21, of Murrieta, lost control of the vehicle while speeding eastbound on Clinton Keith Road.  He ran off the road, crashed through several small trees, and came to rest near a shopping center entrance.

The passenger in the vehicle sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.

Jurasky was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision and was arrested for driving under the influence/causing bodily injury.

The eastbound lanes of Clinton Keith Road were closed until 6:45 a.m. as a result of the collision.

Anyone with further information about this collision is asked to contact the Wildomar Police Department at 951-245-3300 or 951-776-1099.
