Child in critical condition after drowning incident at community pool in Lake Elsinore

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

Shortly before 7:00 p.m. on August 7th, officers from the Lake Elsinore Police Department responded to a drowning at the Tuscany Hills Community Pool, located at 73 Summerhill Drive in Lake Elsinore.

When officers arrived, Cal Fire was administering life-saving aid to a five-year-old child that was found unresponsive in the pool. The victim was taken to a local hospital and is critical condition.
