News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

Shortly after 10:00 a.m. on August 10th, the Eastvale Police Department received a call of a possible downed aircraft near the 1300 block of Citrus Avenue in Eastvale, west of the I-15 freeway.

Deputies responded and located the downed aircraft in a large field.  The occupants of the aircraft were able to escape from the aircraft with only minor injuries.

The cause of the plane crash is unknown at this time and is currently being investigated by FAA.
