Off-road motorcyclist crashes in Menifee neighborhood

2012-08-07-map-menifee.JPGAt around 3:45 p.m. on August 4th, officers from the Menifee Police Department responded to a call of a motorcyclist down in the 31000 block of Shadow Ridge Drive, a residential area east of the I-215 freeway in Menifee.

Officers arrived to find the rider still in the street in medical distress.  The rider had been riding an off-road motorcycle on the paved street without a helmet and lost control.

Medical aid was provided by paramedics and the rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The rider’s condition had been listed as critical.

Drugs or alcohol do not appear to have played a role in this collision.

The investigation is continuing and anyone that may have witnessed the collision or may have further information is asked to call Officer Joshua Cail at 951-210-1000.
