Three juveniles caught in the act and arrested for home burglary in La Quinta

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

At around 8:00 p.m. on July 7th, officers from the La Quinta Police Department responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 52100 block of Avenida Herrera in La Quinta.

The suspects, described as three Hispanic juveniles, were seen entering through a side gate and climbing through a window into the residence.  They were later seen leaving the residence carrying stolen property and were located by responding officers a street away.  The suspects attempted to flee from police but were taken into custody without incident.  All three suspects were juveniles, aged 14 to 17, and were booked into Juvenile Hall in Indio.
