Marcus Eugene Welton age 83, of Hemet, California, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012. He was born on Friday, April 19, 1929 in Atlantic, Iowa to Max and Rhoda Welton.

He was married to Evelyn Welton for 42 wonderful years. Marcus worked as a firefighter for 30 years. Mr. Welton enjoyed golfing with his friends, fishing, hunting, and doing carpentry. He was also a great scholar. Marcus will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Marcus was preceded in death by his parents Max and Rhoda Welton and his son Jim Welton.

He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn Welton; children Cheryl Lynn Welton, Ed (June) Ramirez, Dennis (Vicky) Jones, Diane Mader, and Richard Clyburn; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Gary (Marla) Welton, and his Aunt Betty Derry.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Miller-Jones Mortuary & Crematory 1501 W. Florida Ave. Hemet, CA 92546.
