News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

At around 5:30 p.m. on July 24th, officers from the Wildomar Police Department were dispatched to a robbery at the U.S Bank located inside the Albertson’s grocery store in the 23800 block of Clinton Keith Road.

The female suspect approached the teller and demanded money.  The teller gave her an undisclosed amount of money and she left the scene on foot.

Officers arrived within minutes; however the suspect had already fled.   Investigators responded to the scene while officers searched the area surrounding the shopping center for the suspect.

The suspect was described as a Hispanic woman, 40-45 years old, about 5′6″ tall, 170-180 pounds, wearing a turquoise colored short-sleeved shirt and a floor length multi-colored skirt.

The investigation is continuing, and anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Investigator Holder at 951-245-3300 or 951-776-1099.
