The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has reported that a Riverside man who had pulled his car over to the freeway shoulder on Highway 60 in Jurupa Valley was hit by a semi truck and killed on the scene.

The collision happened at around 10:30 p.m. on July 7th, west of the Pacific Avenue underpass on the 60 freeway.

The victim was identified as Heriberto Gonzalez-Gil, 20, of Riverside.

The identify and condition of the semi truck driver was not released.
