Shortly before 7:30 p.m. on June 7th, Lake Elsinore Police Officers responded to a report of fraudulent credit card purchases made at the Lake Elsinore Outlets. Outlet security officers told dispatch that there were three people at the Outlets who had made several purchases using fraudulent credit cards. Security was also able to provide their vehicle description and license plate.
The officers arrived at the Outlets and were directed to the Nike store where two of the subjects were detained. The third suspect was located and detained by their vehicle, which was located in the west Outlet parking lot.
The suspects were identified as Robert Clayton Redd (pictured top right), 31, of Los Angeles; Kenneth Marquice Cannon (pictured middle
right), 41, of Rialto; and Shaeyauna Leniece Leagons (pictured lower right), 20, of Pomona.
The investigation revealed the three suspects made as many as 15 transactions totaling several thousand dollars at numerous businesses in the Outlets using fraudulent credit cards. Numerous items of merchandise from the fraudulent credit card transactions were located and recovered.
All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center for commercial burglary, fraudulent use of a credit card, and conspiracy.
