Rodney King, 47, the man at the center of a police beating that sparked the Los Angeles riots 20 years ago, was found dead in a swimming pool at his home in Rialto.
King, who openly discussed his problems with alcohol abuse, has been arrested at least a dozen times since then on a variety of charges that have included DUI and domestic abuse.
He was reportedly found in the pool this morning, June 17th, by his fiance.
There were no signs of foul play.
