2012-06-14-riv-summer-reading-program.JPGTo help keep young readers motivated during summer vacation from school, the Riverside Public Library is initiating a free summer reading program, offering incentives to kids of all ages for reading books.

Every branch of the Riverside Public Library system is participating in the program.

The teen program is for ages 13-19 and includes reading incentives from merchants such as Starbucks, Adams Motorsports, Castle Park, Weinerschnitzel, and a Riverside city park swim pass.

The children’s program is for ages 2-12 and includes reading incentives for merchants such as Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Shakey’s Pizza, Castle Park, Roller City, and a Riverside city park swim pass.

Sign-ups are open now through July 28th.

A free Riverside Public Library card in good standing is required for participation.
