As part of the Beat The Heat Summer Learning Series, Riverside’s Habitat for Humanity is hosting a presentation to explore alternatives to bottled water.
The event is on Saturday, June 16th, from noon until 2:00 p.m. in the community room at Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore, located at 2180 Iowa Avenue in Riverside, east of Columbia Avenue.
Representatives from Western Municipal Water District will provide information about global climate change, safe drinking water, sustainable alternatives to single-use disposable plastic bottles, and more.
This event is free and open to the public.
