The City of Riverside’s C.U.R.E. program will be holding their quarterly bulky item and e-waste drop off event on Saturday, June 9th, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the City Corporation Yard at 8095 Lincoln Avenue, near Adams Street, in Riverside.

This free drop-off service is available to Riverside city residents only; proof of residency required (such as a utility bill).

Items accepted include furniture, computers and monitors, printers, televisions, large household items, refrigerators, tires, washing machines, dryers, air conditioning units, stoves, ovens, ranges, toaster ovens — basically anything that’s too big to fit into residential trash containers.

Also allowed at this event are household batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, and CFL’s.

Free mulch will also be available for pick up, loaded directly into pickup trucks or trailers (bring a tarp to cover the load).  Cars or vans must bring containers or bags.

C.U.R.E. (Clean Up Riverside’s Environment) is a program that focuses on promoting the value of having a clean city, raising consciousness of litter habits, and improving overall community pride and involvement.

As part of its CURE campaign, the city hosts periodic bulky item and electronic waste collection events.

NOTE: No hazardous waste will be collected at this event.  Hazardous waste items may be taken to the Riverside County Household Hazardous Waste Facility at 1780 Agua Mansa Road in Riverside on any non-holiday Saturday.
