Riverside Parks & Recreation is hosting the 10th annual fishing derby on Saturday, June 16th, at Fairmount Park’s Lake Evans from 6:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

Prizes will be awarded at this family event, including cash prizes for catching a specially tagged fish.

Participants must bring their own bait and fishing poles.

Fairmount Park is located at 2601 Fairmount Boulevard, near Market Street and the 60 freeway in downtown Riverside.

Walk-in and mail-in registration is accepted at all community centers and the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, located at 6927 Magnolia Avenue until Friday, June 15th.
