Pizza Hut delivery man has died after robbery in Moreno Valley

Reports have been received that a pizza delivery man who was attacked and robbed in Moreno Valley last Thursday night has died from his injuries.

The victim, identified as Patrick Kasper, 36, of Moreno Valley, reported the robbery after returning to his employer, Pizza Hut, on Alessandro Boulevard, on May 31st.  He had been delivering about $90 worth of food to a home in the 22800 block of Adrienne Avenue when he was attacked from behind, knocked down, and robbed.  Officers later determined that the home was vacant.

Police have not released information on suspects.

Patrick Kasper grew up in Moreno Valley and attended Valley View High School.  He is the father of an 11-year-old daughter.

Area Pizza Hut locations will is accepting donations for Kaspar’s family, and a fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, June 11, from 4:00 p.m. until closing at the Pizza Hut where he worked on Alessandro and Pizza Hut on Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside.
