News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on May 31st, officers from the Moreno Valley Police Department responded to the 22800 block of Adrienne Avenue regarding a robbery of a pizza delivery man.

The robbery victim reported he delivered over $90.00 worth of pizzas and food to an address on Adrienne Avenue when he was robbed by unknown suspect(s).  The victim told officers that he was attacked, knocked to the ground, and robbed of the pizzas.

The victim returned to the pizza restaurant, but did not immediately report the robbery.

Officers conducted further investigation on Adrienne Avenue, but no suspects were located and the residence where the victim tried to deliver the food was vacant.

This investigation is ongoing and the Moreno Valley Police Department is asking anyone with information regarding this incident or any similar incidents to contact Investigator Ed Rose at 951-486-6816, or 951-247-8700.
