Major Jones Jennings passed away on June 4, 2012 in Hemet, CA. He was born June 5, 1919 in Shuqualak, Mississippi to Bennie and Kathleen Jennings.

Major served in the US Navy where he worked for 24 years as a naval engineer.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pauline Jennings in 2007.

Major is survived by his three children, Nancy Beal, Paul Jennings and Laura Darnell, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held on Monday, June 11, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Thomas Miller Mortuary in Corona with a service to follow at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the Riverside National Cemetery, Monday, June 5th at 12:30 PM.
