Leon “Lee” Louis Leininger of Riverside, CA, died on June 9, 2012 from a long battle with MDS. Leon was born in Lansing, MI on November 30, 1935 to Reuben and Harriet Leininger (both deceased).

He served in the Army and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years and retired in 1990.

He is survived by his wife, Helen of 54 years; three sons, David of Prescott, AZ, Darryl of Riverside, CA, Gerald of Redlands; and one daughter, Debbie Anderson of Barstow, CA; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Leon will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

Cremation by Acheson and Graham will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 12th at 6pm - 405 Robinhood Lane, Redlands, CA, 92373. Donations can be made to MDS Foundation at http://www.mds-foundation.org
