Josephine Yolanda Spagnuolo Carlson age 88, a resident of Redlands for more than 40 years, died Sunday, June 17, 2012. Josephine was born September 1, 1923, in New York, the second daughter of Ermenia DeAngelis of New York City and Giuseppe Spagnuolo of Naples, Italy.

Josephine is survived by her husband of 59 years, Edward Joel Carlson; son Joseph Carlson and his wife Leah Young Carlson; daughter Donna Carlson Reeves; grandsons Anthony Joseph Carlson and Nicholas Edward Carlson, all of Redlands.

She is also survived by grandson Christopher Carlson Reeves of Pasadena and granddaughter Alexa Lynne Reeves of Irvine.

Her family invites all who knew her to join us Sunday afternoon June 24, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Emmerson-Bartlett Memorial Chapel, 703 Brookside Avenue, in Redlands California to celebrate the life of this warm, funny, beautiful woman.
