The Riverside County Coroner has reported that an unidentified man was hit by a train on the railroad tracks between Mary Street and Washington Street near Indiana Avenue.

The incident happened at around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, June 15th.

Reports are that the man was seen laying on the tracks and was then hit by a passing train.

The only description provided is that he was between 20 and 30 years old.

The Riverside Police Department is handling the investigation.
