4.1 earthquake in Yorba Linda, followed by several smaller shakers

2012-06-13-yorba-linda-eq-map.JPGA series of earthquakes have been felt in the area tonight, June 13th, centered in Yorba Linda, about 25 miles west of Riverside.

The first and strongest was reported at 8:17 p.m. by the USGS as a magnitude 4.1, and was felt in Riverside.  It was followed by a magnitude 2.4 at 8:23 p.m.

Within the next several minutes after that, there were several more temblors measuring between 1.5 and 2.4, all in the Yorba Linda area.

A magnitude 1.8 centered in Lake Elsinore was also reported at 8:23 p.m.

There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.
