Deputies have arrested four people in Lakeland Village for squatting in a residence and possession of a stolen vehicle.
Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 15000 block of Rose Street in Lakeland Village, west of Lake Elsinore, regarding several subjects squatting in a residence. On arrival the deputies discovered a stolen vehicle in the garage. Deputies detained two women while attempting to conduct further investigation. While doing so, they were informed by local residents that three Hispanic males were seen running from the house and could be seen running in the hills just west of the residence as they tried to hide in the foliage.
A perimeter was established and a search was conducted with the help of a Sheriff’s Department K-9 Officer. The search resulted in locating two of the three Hispanic males that were seen fleeing the residence.
The investigation led to the arrest of two women, Samantha Ibarra, 22 years, of Mission Viejo, and Marie Andrad, 33, from Mexico, and two men, Johnny Manduhano, 27, of Westminster, and Quillermo Gonzalez, 30, of Los Angeles.
All four suspects were arrested and booked for vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is still seeking the identification and apprehension of the third Hispanic male suspect that fled the scene.
