News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:
Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on June 4th, Lake Elsinore police officers were dispatched to the Main Street gas station, located at 301 North Main Street at Sumner Street in Lake Elsinore, in response to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred.
Officers arrived within minutes; however, the suspects had already fled the scene.
The investigation revealed that two suspects entered the store while wearing black bandanas that covered their faces. Suspect #1 produced a handgun, demanded cash from the clerk, and fled the area in their vehicle with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects were last seen driving south on Franklin Street in a gray Dodge Intrepid, unknown year, with no plates, with possible traffic collision damage to the passenger side front fender.
- Suspect # 1: Black male adult, 6′ - 6′02″ tall, thin build, black bandana covering face, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black gloves.
- Suspect # 2: Black male adult, 5′07 - 5′ 10″ tall, black bandana covering face, black hooded sweatshirt, white t-shirt, blue pants, black gloves.
