Vincenza “Vincie” Ann Sarocka age 86, of Hemet, CA, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012, at Hemet Valley Medical Center. Vincie was born January 23, 1926 in Youngstown, Ohio.

She was the daughter of the late Louis Peluso and the late Angeline (Del Quadri) Peluso. She was a homemaker most of her life, and during that time she also owned a hair salon “The Hair Production” in San Jacinto. She was a member of TOPS and a past President of the PTA in Pomona when her children where growing up. She enjoyed the beach, reading, and decorating, she was very crafty and a great cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sarocka Jr.; her son, Joseph Robert Sarocka; and her sister, Ann Louise Wellington.

She is survived by her son; James Sarocka, of Pine Top, AZ; her daughter, Janet Alexson, of Hemet, CA; two sisters, Viola Cast, of PA; Rita Pitoscia, of OH; four grandchildren; Janna Sarocka Esparza, Brandon Sarocka, Brian Alexson, and Laura Alexson; and two great-grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be at McWane Family Funeral Home, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Mc Wane Family Funeral Home, 350 N. San Jacinto Ave, Hemet, CA. Please remember Vincie by making memorial contributions in her name to: American Heart Association, or the Disable Veterans Association Fund.
