Suspects at large after armed robbery and carjacking in San Jacinto

News headline from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department:

A man was robbed at gunpoint early Monday morning in a San Jacinto parking lot and his vehicle was stolen by two suspects who are at large.

Officers from the San Jacinto Police Department responded to the 600 block of North Ramona Boulevard at around 5:30 a.m. on May 14th regarding a carjacking.

Their investigation revealed that at around 5:10 a.m. the victim was walking to his vehicle when he was approached from behind by two suspects.  One of them shoved a semi-automatic handgun in the victim’s back and demanded money.

The suspects took the victim’s vehicle keys and cell phone from his pocket, then shoved the victim to the ground and stole his vehicle from the parking lot.

The suspects were described as white or Hispanic men in their mid-20’s.  They were last seen wearing black hooded sweatshirts, blue jeans and bandanas over their faces.
