On Saturday, May 12th, Campbell Soup Company will team up with the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), in partnership with the U.S. Postal Service, for their 20th annual campaign to Stamp Out Hunger.
The nation’s 210,000 letter carriers will be collecting food donations in order to provide assistance to the millions of Americans who are struggling with hunger each and every day.
It’s simple to do. Just bag up non-perishable food items and leave it by your mailbox on Saturday.
Letter carriers will pick up the bags during their normal routes on Saturday for delivery to a local food bank or pantry.
Donate items such as canned meats and fish (like tuna), soup, juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal, rice, and crackers.
No glass containers and no expired foods.
Campbell Soup Company will kick off this year’s food drive with a pledge to donate one million pounds of food to Feeding America.
