At around 11:45 a.m. on April 25th, Deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a robbery at Taco Bell in Big Bear Lake.
The Taco Bell manager reported that as she was walking to her car in the parking lot she was approached from behind by a male subject who held a rigid object to her back and demanded money. The victim was pulled into the dumpster area of the parking lot where she gave the subject the cash she was carrying for a bank deposit. The victim then ran back into the building as the suspect fled the scene.
Deputies of the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station conducted an extensive search of the surrounding areas, but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult, approximately 5′8″ tall, with a dark complexion and heavy Spanish accent. He has a large tattoo or marking on his left cheek. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing baggy clothing, including a black sweatshirt with a hood pulled over a baseball cap on his head.
